WebClasses vs. Active Server Pages

Question:
What do you suggest using as far as WebClasses versus Active Server Pages (ASP) is concerned? It appears that WebClasses do everything ASP can do, and are faster.

Answer:
I do not know of any "industrial-strength" Web sites that use WebClasses. Most Web developers that I know who are familiar with WebClasses and ASP opt for ASP. In general, the reason is that WebClasses consume more overhead than ASP. WebClasses require the presence of some Visual Basic DLLs that ASP does not need. I would recommend using ASP instead of WebClasses.
