Reading Hotmail in Outlook

Question:
Can I use Outlook 98 to read my hotmail messages like I can with Outlook Express?

Answer:
Not like you do with Outlook Express, no.

With Outlook 2000, you can sort of do it by opening a Web page within the Outlook folder view (you can create a shortcut to it on the Outlook bar) and viewing Hotmail through there. That's really no different than you're doing now (in a separate browser), except you're doing it in an Outlook window.

A Hotmail connector for Outlook 2000 has gone to beta test, but I've heard no word on when (or if) it ever will actually be released.
