Disable the Standard Windows Close, Minimize, and Maximize Buttons

To disable the standard Windows Close, Minimize, and Maximize buttons, simply set the ControlBox property of a Windows Form to False.

You can set this either by using the "Window Style" dropdown in the Properties pane or dynamically by adding the following code to the form:

Me.ControlBox = False
