My VB application accesses Oracle on VAX and it takes atleast15 secs to get connected to Oracle. How can I display a waitwindow/msgbox/form while it is trying to connect to Oracle.The displayed wait window should be turned off after I get Oracle connection?
Answer:
Just create a non-modal window which is shown (without the 1 (one)) before you do your opendatabase call. Hide/Unload the window after the OpenDatabase call.
