When you use Access database or other file based database with Active Server Pages (ASP), you should make sure that the directory in which the database resides is marked as writeable for the user ID used by the IIS process (that is the user ID under which the process is running). If you don’t do this, then the file base databases won’t operate properly from the ASP applications.
