VB5-to-SQL 7.0 Connection Problem

Question:
I need your assistance to solve the following:

I am using an RDO connection to connect to a SQL 7.0 database, and I am using the server-side cursor technique to get data and update it. The problem is, whenever I do a RollBack and try to check the cursor, I receive a message?”ODBC Error – cursor is not open”?as if the cursor is closed automatically. I did not have this problem with SQL 6.5.

Answer:
Is there a particular reason you chose to use RDO instead of ADO?

Check the cursor declaration for the type of cursor you’ve created. Maybe you are dealing with a FORWARD only? Did you try to throw an order by on your cursor?
