Lenovo has unveiled a range of new laptops at IFA Berlin, with the Aura editions of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 and Yoga Slim 7i taking center stage. These devices feature Aura software, developed in partnership with Intel, which allows the laptops to quickly adapt to different modes for specific tasks such as secure internet browsing, enhanced video call quality, and focused work. The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition boasts a 14-inch, 16:10 2.8K (2880×1800) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, and a peak brightness of 400 nits.
It is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and Intel Arc Xe2 GPU, and comes with a replaceable 57Wh battery. The Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition features a larger 15.3-inch screen with the same 2.8K resolution, available in both OLED and LCD touch panel options.

It has a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach 500 nits of brightness. This model is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and integrated graphics, and offers a 70Wh battery for all-day web browsing and streaming. Lenovo also introduced the IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1, which is powered by an 8-core processor and integrated Adreno GPU.
It has a 14-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) OLED screen with 400 nits of brightness and a 57Wh battery, with a price point of around $850. Other models announced include the Yoga Pro 7, IdeaPad Slim 5x, and the 13- and 15-inch IdeaPad Slim 5s, although these will not be available in the US market.
