The developers of Fisch have created intricate puzzles with their latest expansion, The Depths. Players must navigate appraisals and mazes to obtain the Rod of the Depths and gather substantial in-game currency. To acquire the Rod of the Depths, you’ll need C$750,000 in your inventory, Hexed and Abyssal Enchant Relics, a 100% completed Vertigo bestiary, The Depths Key, and Advanced Fishing Gear and Super Flippers.
Acquiring the Hexed and Abyssal Enchant Relics is recommended before entering The Depths. Go to Sunstone Island, buy several relics, and log into a server with the Mutation Surge event active to increase your chances of getting the relics quickly. Visit the Moosewood Appraiser to appraise relics until you have both in your inventory.
To enter The Depths, jump into a Strange Whirlpool, complete the Vertigo bestiary, obtain The Depths Key, and climb to the red area in Vertigo.
Obtaining the Rod of Depths
Talk to the NPC by the door to open it.
After opening the door and finishing the obstacle course, go to the merchant area and find the large statue. Swim upwards and jump to reach the first altar to place the Hexed Enchant Relic. Return to the statue and place the Abyssal Enchant Relic underneath it to open a door on the floor in front of the statue.
The Rod of the Depths maze is the most challenging part of the game. Each player must complete the process individually, including acquiring the relics and completing the Vertigo bestiary. The Rod of the Depths costs C$750,000 and gives you a duplicate, mutation, or another fish from the biome every three catches.
