The Xiaomi Watch S4 has arrived on the global stage with some upgrades over its predecessor. The watch ships with a fluororubber strap and a 2-pin magnetic charger, though it still uses a USB-A plug. Unboxing the Watch S4 reveals a 47mm case size and a 1.43-inch display.
The display brightness has increased from 600 nits in the previous model to 2,200 nits. The swappable bezel system has been refined; the watch now vibrates continuously when the bezel is removed until it is secured back on. This mechanism, combined with the standard 22mm strap size, offers users a way to update the look of their watch.
The review unit came with a colorful bezel and rubber strap combination, but there are premium options available, including dual-tone leather and stainless steel + ceramic bezel combinations. This underscores Xiaomi’s commitment to customization and personalization. The watch houses the same 486mAh battery as its predecessor, with a claimed endurance of 15 days.
In preliminary tests of the previous model, around 5 days of heavy usage was observed. The brighter display on the new S4 will be scrutinized to see if it affects battery life to the same extent.

Multiple SKUs of the Xiaomi Watch S4 have been spotted in Dubai, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, revealing a range of price points. The black and silver versions are expected to have an MSRP of €159.99 in most Eurozone markets. The ‘Rainbow’ variant is listed at a slightly higher price of €169.99.
The global variant of the Xiaomi Watch S4 is expected to be available in silver, black, and rainbow color options. It features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 resolution and a peak brightness of 2,220 nits. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3, with Bluetooth calling supported.
Health and fitness tracking features include a heart rate monitor, accelerometer, and barometric altimeter. Navigation support includes GPS, Beidou, Galileo, and GLONASS. The Watch S4 also features NFC functionality and a 5 ATM water resistance rating.
The smartwatch is powered by a 486 mAh Li-Po battery, which is reported to last up to 15 days. It is compatible with smartphones running Android 8.0 and above or iOS 12.0 and higher.
