IBM has announced the release of MobileFirst Foundation 8.0, its updated suite of tools for mobile development, testing and management. The key change from previous versions of the software is that it has been designed to support cloud computing.

A Forrester Research study of MobileFirst found that it helped enterprises decrease mobile application development time from 12 weeks to 7.3 weeks.
