Large organizations have been using predictive analytics for some time, but those tools tend to be too expensive for smaller enterprises. That all changes with Google’s new Predictive API.
The free beta makes it possible to spot patterns and make predictions using data from any Internet-connected application, in the cloud or on premise. Google notes that this “facilitates the development of all types of software, from textual analysis systems to recommendation systems.”
To use the API, you must first request an invitation by signing up for the waitlist.
