Tech Firm Survey Finds Dearth of Qualified Mobile Developers

A new report from online job board Dice finds that 57 percent of companies involved in developing mobile apps are planning to hire in the next 12 months. However, more than half of these companies also say that qualified applicants are “scarce.” That’s driving up salaries, which the majority say average between $75,001 and $100,000.

Mobile development firms say the qualifications most in demand include experience with iOS, followed by experience on Android.
