Dan Bell has joined Agilysys as Vice President of North America Sales East for hotels, resorts, and cruises. Bell brings over 20 years of experience in the hospitality technology sector. Agilysys has restructured its North American sales operations into East and West regions.
Each region is managed by a vice president who reports to Chief Commercial Officer Joe Youssef. Tim Hansen leads the West region, while Dan Bell oversees the East. Bell’s background includes leadership roles at Toast, Shiji Group, Oracle Hospitality, and MICROS Systems.
He has worked with major hospitality organizations such as Marriott International, MGM Resorts, and Disney. Most recently, Bell served as Group Vice President at Toast.

There, he developed sales and implementation strategies for hotels. Joe Youssef, Chief Commercial Officer at Agilysys, said, “Dan’s vast experience and proven track record in the hospitality technology sector make him an invaluable addition to our leadership team. His appointment will help us accelerate our growth strategy and better serve our clients in the Eastern region of North America.”
Agilysys is bolstering its sales resources in both regions.
The goal is to capture market growth and drive the adoption of its property management system (PMS) and point-of-sale (POS) solutions. The restructuring and expansion of the sales leadership team show Agilysys’ commitment to leveraging market opportunities. It also demonstrates the company’s focus on enhancing service delivery.
Bell’s expertise in identifying and implementing the right technology solutions will be key. Agilysys aims to strengthen its footprint in North America and provide innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the hospitality industry.
