Zepp Health announced the update, which introduces a recreational scuba diving mode that supports dives up to 45 meters deep. The mode includes options for single cylinder, air and nitrox, and no-stop diving.

The update also adds three new HYROX Training Modes: free training, training templates, and timed training. Timed training includes styles like TABATA, AMRAP, and EMOM. Users will also find a safety light for nighttime workouts and a navigation setting for topographic maps.

Other improvements in the update include optimizations in the display of app and activity lists, as well as enhancements in map appearance and track navigation. The update is currently being rolled out to Amazfit Balance 2 users in China, with no announcement yet regarding availability in other countries. The Amazfit Balance 2 has officially launched in Malaysia, priced at RM1,299.

The device is an upgrade to the original Balance, with improvements in build quality, battery life, and health tracking features. It features a 1.5-inch 480×480 AMOLED display, protected by sapphire crystal glass, and is housed in an aluminium body. The Balance 2 has a 10ATM water resistance rating, allowing it to withstand diving up to 45 meters.
