The Amazfit Balance 2 smartwatch is receiving an update that introduces several new features. The update brings a recreational scuba diving mode that supports dives up to 45 meters deep. It is compatible with single cylinder, air, nitrox, and no-stop diving options.
The update also adds three new HYROX Training Modes: free training, training templates, and timed training. Each mode supports the TABATA, AMRAP, and EMOM exercise styles. Other new tools include a safety light for nighttime workouts and a navigation setting for topographic maps.
The update optimizes the display of the app and activity lists. It also improves the appearance of the map and track navigation features. This update is currently rolling out to Amazfit Balance 2 users in China.
The company has not announced when it will be available in other countries. Amazfit has launched its latest smartwatch, the Balance 2, in Malaysia. It features over 170 sport modes and a battery life of up to 21 days.
The Balance 2 has a 1.5-inch 480×480 AMOLED display protected by sapphire crystal glass. Its body is made from aluminium and is rated at 10ATM water resistance. It can withstand diving depths of up to 45 meters.
