The third edition of the DevSecOps Days Istanbul Conference began at Borsa Istanbul on Wednesday. The event brings together experts, sector representatives, software engineers, and cybersecurity professionals. The conference started with Borsa Istanbul’s traditional “gong ceremony.” Opening remarks were given by several prominent figures. These included IT Association Chair Mehmet Ali Serttas, Borsa Istanbul’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) Erdinc Tutam, Takasbank’s CIO Taskin Oker, Turkish Industry and Technology Ministry’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Burcu Dogan Kasabaci, and Turkish Finance Ministry’s CIO Mert Ozarar.

AI’s impact on DevSecOps practices

The speakers emphasized AI’s growing significance in the modern world and current cybersecurity trends. The two-day program features numerous panels, discussions, and workshops. These are focused on DevSecOps practices, cybersecurity issues, and AI security.

DevSecOps is an application development methodology. It automates the integration of security practices at every stage of the software development lifecycle. This covers initial design to integration, testing, delivery, and deployment.
