iRacing has launched its 2025 Season 2 Build, bringing a host of new content and updates to the popular racing simulation platform. The release includes three new ARCA Menards Series cars: the Chevrolet SS, Ford Mustang, and Toyota Camry. These stock cars join the iRacing lineup, offering racers fresh challenges on the virtual track.
The Legends Ford ’34 Coupe, a fan-favorite from the base package, has received a complete overhaul. The car now features new physics, performance, art, and audio, making it rain-ready for road course racing. This update breathes new life into one of iRacing’s most iconic vehicles.
Portland International Raceway, a top track in the Pacific Northwest known for hosting IndyCar and NASCAR Xfinity Series races, makes its debut on iRacing. The addition of this circuit expands the variety of tracks available to racers. Several NASCAR tracks, including Bristol, Darlington, Dover, Homestead, Iowa, Kansas, and Las Vegas, have undergone full artistic overhauls.
International tracks such as Jerez, Aragon, Rudskogen, Sandown, and Winton have also received updates to their curbs, enhancing the visual experience.

Prototype racing enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that significant updates have been made to the GTP and LMP2 tire parameters.
These changes aim to provide a more realistic racing experience, allowing drivers to better understand and manage tire wear during races. The official series page has been redesigned, offering more information, including series analytics and heatmaps, along with refreshed schedules, results, and standings pages. This update makes it easier for racers to track their progress and stay informed about upcoming events.
New features include a Connection Black Flag system, which removes racers with unstable connections from races by teleporting them to the pits until their connection improves. Local Course Debris Cautions have also been added, introducing local yellows for new debris on the track. The updated universal lighting system better integrates the environment with the sky and weather conditions, creating a more immersive experience.
AI capabilities have been expanded to include the Dallara iR-01 and multiple layouts for Daytona (NASCAR Road, Moto, Short) and Mid-Ohio (Chicane, Short). Opponent cars have also received major visual updates, featuring more variance in color, sponsor, and car number combinations. For more information, racers can visit the iRacing forums to access the full release notes and updates.
With each build, iRacing continues to enhance the racing simulation experience, ensuring that racers have access to the most realistic and immersive content available.
