Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang spoke at London Tech Week on Monday, describing artificial intelligence as the “great equalizer.” He emphasized how AI has made programming accessible to everyone, comparing it to training a person. “The way you program a computer today, to ask the computer to do something for you, even write a program, generate images, write a poem — just ask it nicely,” Huang said. He explained that in the past, programming required learning complex languages and designing complicated computers.

OpenAI announced that it has 3 million paying business users, showing the widespread adoption of AI in various industries. “This way of interacting with computers, I think, is something that almost anybody can do, and I would just encourage everybody to engage it,” Huang added. “Children are already doing that themselves naturally, and this is going to be transformative.”

Huang spoke on stage alongside U.K. Prime Minister Kier Starmer at the event.

Cheyenne DeVon and Ashton Jackson contributed to the report on Huang’s remarks.
