The New York Times’ latest word game, Connections, has quickly captured the public’s attention. The game is centered around finding “common threads between words.” Each new day brings a fresh set of words, getting trickier and trickier—so we’ve served up some hints and tips to help you over the hurdle. Puzzle editor Wyna Liu is credited with helping to create the game, which can be played on both web browsers and mobile devices. The game requires players to group four words that share something in common. Each puzzle features 16 words, and each grouping of words is split into four categories.
