Samsung has officially concluded the One UI 6 Watch Beta Program for all Galaxy Watch models as of November 28, 2024. The stable One UI 6 Watch update is now available for eligible Galaxy Watches, bringing several new features and enhancements to offer users an improved smartwatch experience. The beta program began in mid-June, initially including the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.

It later expanded to cover the entire Galaxy Watch 4 and 5 series. Samsung tested the system through eight beta updates before concluding the beta phase for the Galaxy Watch 6 series in late October. The stable One UI 6 Watch update was first made available for the Galaxy Watch 6 series and has since been extended to more countries, including the Galaxy Watch 5 series.

Recently, Samsung informed beta testers using the Galaxy Watch 4 series that the beta program has ended. They, along with other Galaxy Watch users, are encouraged to install the stable update to benefit from future features and improvements. While the stable update is being rolled out gradually, it’s advised to install it as soon as it becomes available for the best experience.

Samsung ends One UI 6 beta

Samsung is already gearing up for the next major update, One UI 7, which promises several exciting features. One UI 7 will build upon the existing features from One UI 6.1 and 6.1.1, including Live Translate, Portrait Studio, Sketch to Image, Live Effects, and Circle to Search.

These features will receive upgrades to improve processing speed, increase convenience, and support more languages. Samsung has yet to announce the official release date for One UI 7, but it is expected to bring significant improvements to both visual and functional aspects of Galaxy devices. The tech giant continues to lead through its innovative updates and commitment to improving user experiences.

This update introduces an “Energy Score” in Samsung Health, enhanced sleep tracking capabilities, customizable workouts, new gestures for easier navigation, and improved communication features. Following the update for the Galaxy Watch 5 series, Samsung plans to extend the One UI 6 update to the Galaxy Watch 4 series.

The company remains committed to advancing technology and improving user experience through continuous software updates and innovative product development.
