The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 Bluetooth Tracker is now available at a discounted price on Amazon. Originally priced at $29.99, the tracker is currently on sale for $22.60, offering a 25% discount. This deal comes just in time for the spring break and summer travel season.

The SmartTag2 is an ideal solution for travelers who want to keep track of their luggage and other personal items while abroad. The device is water-resistant and has a lifespan of up to 500 days, which can be extended by an additional 40% using Power Saving Mode. If an item goes missing, users can activate the Search Nearby function for guided instructions via the Compass View.

The Ring Your Tag feature allows the tracker to audibly signal its location if the item still can’t be found. When Lost Mode is enabled, the tracker’s NFC (Near Field Communication) displays the owner’s registered contact information and message on the finder’s smartphone, making it easier to return lost belongings. Over 7,000 Amazon customers have given the gadget an average rating of 4.3 out of five stars.

One satisfied customer shared their experience: “These are a great way for an Android user to keep track of luggage and other items. On a trip to Europe, I was able to track my luggage as the delivery truck brought it from the ship to the hotel.

It showed the entire route that the truck took! Like magic.”

However, they also noted a concern: “I like how easy it was to set up and the mapping feature. What I don’t like is how low the alarm buzzes in a noisy airport. I knew my luggage was in baggage claim but couldn’t hear the alarm.”

Another customer left a five-star review, stating: “A real investment! I purchased a set for when I travel.

I only activated one so far, and it is the best thing I could have ever done. These tags make life so easy and less stressful. I have always been afraid to check a bag but now, I feel better using such a quality, accurate, great built tag.”

For those looking for alternatives, Walmart offers a comparable device for $24.98, which works with the free Tile app to track belongings.

iPhone users can opt for the Apple AirTag, currently on sale for $22.99 (originally $29), which can be attached to items and located using the Find My app.
