The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 series is set to launch with three models: the Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and Watch Ultra (2025). A recent leak has revealed detailed specifications and pricing for these upcoming smartwatches. All models will feature the Exynos W1000 chipset, an upgrade from the previous generation.

The base Galaxy Watch 8 will have 32GB of storage, while the Classic and Ultra models will be equipped with 64GB. The Galaxy Watch 8 will be available in 40mm and 44mm sizes with a silicone band. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will feature a “Premium Hybrid Strap,” combining leather and silicone or rubber.

The Watch Ultra (2025) will come with an “Extreme Sport Bracelet” similar to last year’s model but in a new color. Pricing for the Galaxy Watch 8 series in France indicates a near 20% increase compared to previous models.

The Galaxy Watch 8 series will run on Wear OS 6-based software out of the box, and Samsung is expected to offer four major Wear OS updates for these devices. All models will feature sapphire glass protection and a peak screen brightness of 3,000 nits with a pixel density of 327ppi. The watches will be equipped with various sensors for comprehensive fitness, health, and workout tracking, including an accelerometer, light sensor, geomagnetic sensor, PPG sensor, ECG sensor, and BIA sensor.

Battery life will vary among the models, with the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 likely offering the longest battery life with its 590mAh battery. All watches support magnetic wireless charging. The Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will be available in both Bluetooth-only and Bluetooth + Cellular (4G LTE) variants, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will be sold exclusively in the Bluetooth + Cellular (4G LTE) variant.
