TCS, India’s largest IT services company, has launched a suite of AI-powered platforms to modernize the country’s public sector and defense systems. The new offerings include the TCS SovereignSecure Cloud, TCS DigiBOLT, and the TCS Cyber Defense Suite. The TCS SovereignSecure Cloud is a native cloud infrastructure dedicated to government institutions, public sector enterprises, and regulated industries.
It utilizes data centers in Mumbai and Hyderabad, ensuring sensitive data remains within Indian borders and complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act of 2023. TCS Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director K. Krithivasan emphasized the transformative potential of these platforms at the launch event in New Delhi.
He stated, “Today’s event addresses some of India’s most pressing opportunities.

TCS DigiBOLT is an AI-driven, low-code platform designed to help enterprises accelerate the development of AI-first applications.
Built on open-source technology, it unifies processes, data sources, and fragmented legacy systems under a single framework. Girish Ramachandran, President of Growth Markets at TCS, highlighted its versatility, stating, “DigiBOLT improves agility and the speed of execution. It powers pensions for Defence personnel, digitizes the entire aviation regulation sector in India, and supports investment processes in three major states.”
The TCS Cyber Defense Suite is a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity solutions offered as a security-as-a-service platform in India.
The AI-driven platform aims to provide actionable insights for proactive risk mitigation, threat detection, and automated responses to cyber threats. These new offerings underscore TCS’s commitment to leveraging AI and cloud technology to advance India’s public sector and defense systems, ensuring enhanced security, efficiency, and modernization. The launch event marks a significant step forward in TCS’s strategy to drive digital transformation and innovation in the country.
