The Google Pixel 9A has been spotted in unboxing and review videos on YouTube before its official announcement. The videos showcase the phone’s refreshed design and enhanced features. The Pixel 9A appears to have a flat back without a prominent camera bump.

It has a slightly larger 6.3-inch display with noticeable bezels. The phone is rumored to come with a 5,100mAh battery. Reviewers tested the camera capabilities of the Pixel 9A.

They displayed images and clips taken with its supposed 48-megapixel main camera, 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and 13-megapixel selfie camera. Day-time footage looks sharp, but video quality seems to decrease at night. Google might unveil the Pixel 9A on March 19th.

The launch may include color options like purple, pink, black, and white. The Pixel 9A is expected to keep its price at $499, the same as the Pixel 8A.

Unboxing insights of Pixel 9A

This was listed in a leaked document in February for a model with 128GB of storage. The phone might get a bigger 5,100 mAh battery compared to the Pixel 8A’s 4,492 mAh and the Pixel 9’s 4,700 mAh. It’s uncertain if the Pixel 9A will support the new Qi2 wireless charging standard.

An unboxing video shows a purple edition of the Pixel 9A. This color choice is reminiscent of the “Purple-ish” Pixel 3A from 2019. YouTuber Sahil Karoul thoroughly tested the Pixel 9A’s Tensor G4 performance, cameras, and design changes.

The phone has a flat frame but large bezels around the 6.3-inch display. Benchmarks show the Tensor G4 chip performs decently without overheating. The Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) impresses with its capabilities.

Despite design tweaks and a larger battery, the Pixel 9A seems to offer no other major surprises. It could provide good value for markets seeking efficient yet affordable smartphones.
