PlayStation 5 owners can play Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown for free this weekend. The trial period began today and runs until 9 am UTC on Tuesday, December 31st. During this time, players have full access to the game with no restrictions on playtime.
Any progress made will be saved in the cloud, so it can carry over if the full game is purchased later. Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown has faced some challenges since its release in September. Server issues and frame rate drops have been common, even on the PS5 Pro.
However, the developers have been working to improve the game with patches and updates. The game takes place in a virtual version of Hong Kong Island.
Free weekend for Test Drive
Players can explore the open world, customize their character, and try out different cars and races. The first expansion was also recently added, bringing the capital of Ibiza into the game with new content. For those interested in buying Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, it is currently 40% off on the PlayStation Store.
Both the Gold Edition and Silver Streets Edition are discounted until January 7th. It’s important to note that the free trial is not available in Japan or South Korea. Players in Germany will need a PlayStation Plus membership to participate.
Nacon has said that free trial weekends will be offered on other platforms like PC and Xbox in the future. However, no specific dates have been announced yet.
