35 Software Developers Join Cisco’s Intercloud Effort

At its Cisco Live 2015 event, Cisco announced that 35 software developers have signed on to be part of the company’s Intercloud initiative. Introduced last year, Intercloud is Cisco’s effort to build a global network of interconnected cloud computing environments.

Developers like Citrix Systems, CliQr, Cloudera, F5 Networks, Hortonworks, Informatica, MapR, Pegasystems, Skytree and Zenoss will offer applications for sale through Cisco’s Intercloud Marketplace. Most of the original offerings in the online store will be related to cloud development, big data and the Internet of Everything (IoE).
