HP and Microsoft announced Wednesday that they will work together to advance cloud computing by investing $250 million in a cloud computing venture.
The three-year agreement will result in new solutions built on a next-generation infrastructure-to-application model. Businesses using the service will be able to integrate both public and private cloud models as needed. The overall goal is to eliminate some of the complexities of IT management and lower costs.
