Apple Developers, IT Departments Frustrated with iPad

The new iPad will begin flying off the shelves next Saturday, but consumers won’t have that many new apps to play with on their new toys. That’s because Apple didn’t provide very many developers with advance copies of the iPad so that they could test their apps.

The complaint is common: unlike Dell and other PC makers, Apple doesn’t offer developers and IT departments, making their jobs more difficult.
