Today, HP rolls out two new application development tools that will assist enterprises in their modernization efforts. HP Service Test Management 10.5 collects and displays data on which apps need to be tested, including tracking various elements of the application (presentation, service bus, etc.). HP Functional Testing 10.0, based on technology HP acquired from Mercury Interactive, now supports testing for Web 2.0 technologies, including Silverlight, AJAX toolkits, and [Adobe] Flex/Flash.
“Service Test Management is the map; HP Functional Testing is the car,” explained HP’s Mark Sarbiewski.
