Helios Release Delivers 39 Open Source Projects for Eclipse IDE

Every year, the Eclipse Foundation coordinates a release train of Eclipse-related projects. This year’s release, named “Helios” includes 39 separate projects and more than 33 million lines of code.

Notable projects in the release include egit and jgit, both of which support Git source code management; the JavaScript Development Tools (JSDT) IDE; an updated Linux IDE package; the new Eclipse Marketplace Client, which makes it easier to find Eclipse plug-ins; and updates to the core Eclipse IDE.
