App developers who write for the Android mobile operating system have had a lot to complain about lately. Google’s Android Market has experienced a number of problems, including disappearing apps, incorrect download counts, problems with payment and even outages for the entire app store. And of course, all of those problems have impacted developers’ revenue stream.

Bloggers and developers have pointed to several possible causes for the problems, as well as recommending solutions. Some say that if Google doesn’t fix the problems soon, app developers may give up and begin developing for other platforms.
