HP has released a beta version of the webOS 2.0 SDK to developers, and its lineup of new features has some saying that other mobile platforms should be “worried.” Among the most intriguing of the new features is “Stacks,” new multi-tasking support that displays open apps like a deck of cards. For developers, the new OS offers better support for HTML5, the Node.js runtime environment and PDK Plug-ins, which allow developers to write apps in C/C++.
