Ajax.org is rolling out a new cloud-based application development tool that it’s calling “Cloud9 IDE.” The goal of the project is to make it easier for Web and mobile app developers to build, test, debug, and deploy their creations. It’s aimed primarily at JavaScript users, but also supports Python, Ruby and PHP.
Later this year, the group plans to launch an app store featuring Web and mobile apps built using the service.
