Analytics vendor Flurry has released a new report which tracks how many of its clients are starting new projects for the iPhone, Android and the iPad. In the first quarter of the year, 54 percent of new projects targeted the iPhone/iPod Touch, while 36 percent targeted Android and 10 percent targeted the iPad. In the second quarter, Android dropped to 28 percent, while the iPhone grew to 57 percent and the iPod hit 15 percent.
The report authors attributes growing developer interest in Apple’s products to the launch of the Verizon iPhone and the iPad 2.
