A new survey conducted by Serena Software at a recent Gartner summit asked enterprise IT managers about their application development priorities for 2012. Among those surveyed, 68 percent said delivering applications faster was a top priority. In addition, 52 percent cited expanding the use of Agile methodologies as a top priority, and 49 percent said reducing application development costs was key.
When asked about their top enterprise application development initiatives, those surveyed chose “managing applications as a business process” as number one.
