Gorilla Logic Releases Open Source Mobile Testing Platform

Development tool and services vendor Gorrilla Logic has announced the availability of MonkeyTalk, a new open source mobile testing platform. MonkeyTalk combines two other Gorrilla Logic products: FlexMonkey for testing Adobe Air and Flex apps and FoneMonkey for testing iOS apps. In addition, it introduces a new high-level scripting language called MonkeyTalk Command Language, which is designed to be learned in a matter of minutes.

MonkeyTalk also includes an Eclipse-based IDE, a JavaScript API and MonkeyTalk Agents, which connect small native libraries to Android and iOS apps to enable recording and playback.
