Amazon has released a developer preview of its AWS SDK for JavaScript. The tool makes it possible to write applications that can access Amazon’s cloud computing services without needing to do any server-side coding or to set up an application server. It’s similar to the company’s previously released SDK for Node.js apps.

The AWS SDK for JavaScript allows direct calls to Amazon’s S3, SQS, SNS and the DynamoDB NoSQL database. Tutorials are available on the Amazon Web Services website.
