Amazon Web Services Releases Node.js SDK

A new tool from Amazon Web Services (AWS) will make it easier for developers to build server-side applications in JavaScript and run them on Amazon’s cloud computing services. The company announced the general availability of its Node.js SDK, which was released as a preview late last year.

New features in the latest release include bound parameters, streams, identity and access management roles for Amazon EC2 instances, proxies and version locking.

Amazon also offers Node.js support for its Elastic Beanstalk cloud development platform.
