IBM has announced that it is expanding its Mobility Services portfolio with Mobile Infrastructure Analytics Services. The cloud-based service gathers data from an enterprise’s network and servers, as well as end users’ devices, and consolidates the information in a dashboard that can alert developers and IT managers about an app’s performance. It can be used on live apps and/or during testing.
In related news, IBM is also rolling out a desktop virtualization service that works with mobile devices. It allows users to access their desktops or laptops through their smartphones or tablets.
