Microsoft Improves Its Cloud Computing Security

Microsoft has announced that it has taken several steps to boost security on its cloud computing offerings, including Azure, SharePoint Online and Office 365. It has unveiled a new service called Advanced Threat Detection for Azure Security Center, and it has integrated threat visualization, identity protection and predictive intelligence features to its existing security measures.

In the coming months, Microsoft plans to roll out a new product called Microsoft Cloud App Security and to add a Customer Lockbox feature to OneDrive and SharePoint online.

In a blog post, Microsoft CISO Bret Arsenault wrote, “As attackers get more sophisticated, we need to evolve our ability to get real-time insights and predictive intelligence across our network so we can stay a step ahead of the threats.”
