Microsoft Releases Visual Studio 2013 Update 3

Microsoft has released a third update for its flagship IDE, Visual Studio 2013. The most eagerly anticipated new feature is CodeLens for Git repositories. It allows developers to seem more detail on authors and code changes in third-party code stored in Git.

Other noteworthy updates in the release include DevOps release management, improved Azure cloud computing support, performance diagnostics enhancements, Application Insights tools for Visual Studio, new Code Maps features and the option to eliminate ALL CAPS in menu bars.
