Oracle has launched new versions of several important developer tools and middleware, improving their cloud computing capabilities. The newly updated software includes Oracle Cloud Application Foundation, the WebLogic application server, Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle Coherence in-memory data caching technology and Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse.
According to Oracle’s Mike Lehmann the updates “provide an integrated foundation infrastructure for customers who want to build a cloud infrastructure, for customized applications or applications running under our Fusion middleware.” The new tools also now support the Oracle 12c database.
