Red Hat has launched a new JBoss Developer Program, which offers a free subscription to JBoss products. It allows enterprise application development teams to use JBoss middleware at no charge during the development and testing phases; they can then upgrade to a paid subscription with full support and security when the code goes into production.
Along with the new program, Red Hat has updated the JBoss Developer Studio IDE and revamped the JBoss Developer community site. The IDE update adds support for AngularJS and Ionic, as well as introducing Forge 2 wizards for code generation. The website adds new quickstarts, tutorials, reference architecture and other resources.
