A new Vancouver, BC-based startup called NodeFly wants to make it easier to monitor the performance of Web applications built with Node.js. Company CEO Glen Lougheed says that while there are some tools that can monitor one or two aspects of an application, developers that want a full application performance monitoring solution are forced to “Frankenstein a solution together, and most people don’t want to do that.” NodeFly aims to solve this problem with an end-to-end APM suite.
NodeFly’s APM offering has just been released for beta trial. The company also announced that it has raised $800,000 in seed money.
