The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is Samsung’s most durable and feature-packed smartwatch yet. It boasts a tough titanium exterior, a new programmable Quick button, and a host of outdoor-focused features. The watch is built to withstand harsh conditions.

It meets military standards for durability and is water-resistant up to 100 meters. The titanium casing ensures scratch resistance. One notable addition is the orange Quick Button.

Similar to the Apple Watch Ultra’s side button, the Galaxy Watch Ultra’s side button can be customized to launch workouts, intervals, a flashlight, or a loud safety siren. It delivers comprehensive health tracking, including automatic workout-tracking, sleep monitoring, and new features like the Multisport tile and personalized heart rate zones.

The updated BioActive sensor accurately tracks steps, heart rate, and other health metrics.

Galaxy Watch Ultra durability features

A unique feature is the Advanced Glycation End Products (AGEs) Index.

This score indicates metabolic health and biological aging. While informative, more research may be needed to understand and validate the metric fully. Battery life is a highlight, lasting up to 100 hours in Power Saving mode and about 48 hours with continuous GPS tracking.

Under normal usage, the Galaxy Watch Ultra will last around two days on a charge. Despite its strengths, the Device has some limitations. Many features are exclusive to Samsung devices.

It also lacks reverse wireless charging from Samsung phones and fast charging capabilities.
