Logon Improvements

If your application connects to Microsoft SQL Server, you can use two features to make your login easy and low maintenance. The first choice is to use OLE DB instead of ODBC. This eliminates the need to create and maintain ODBC entries on the user machine. The second is to use trusted connections on the database server. This uses the network login of the user and eliminates the need for the user to enter a UserID and password in the application. Use the following script, substituting your names and variables:
