When To Use equalsIgnoreCase

The equals() method in the String class is commonly used to compare two strings for equality. However, this method returns true only if the argument is not null and is a String object that represents the same sequence of characters as this object. This means that the argument string has to be exactly the same case as this object (the String on which the method is invoked on).
