Creating EXE Files with CCE

Creating EXE Files with CCE

Question:
How do you create EXE files in VB 5.0 CCE? I know that the copy at Microsoft.com does not support the creation of EXE files, but I’m hoping that there is a patch or update or something that would allow me to create EXE files.

Answer:
Visual Basic 5.0 CCE was designed ONLY to create controls and not completeexecutables. CCE came out late last year and was designed to give apreview of what Visual Basic 5.0 would look like. To create executables, you have to purchase/upgrade to Visual Basic 5.0 Learning, Professional, orEnterprise Edition. CCE is just a subset of the real tool.
