Transporting Dbases

Transporting Dbases

Question:
Can I export or import a Dbase file from OPO 1.016 to another DBMS (Microsoft Access or Visual Basic, for example)?

Answer:
OPO Version 1 did not support ODBC. Because of this, you could not accessDbase or Access files easily.

OPO Version 2 does support ODBC connections, and comes with ODBC driversfor Dbase and Access. With Version 2, you can simply create a session foreach database and drag and drop the table from the Dbase file to an Accessfile.

It’s so easy to do, I recommend you upgrade to save time.
