Browsing with Netscape

Question:
I need a way to find the “netscape.exe” file using VB. Then I want to send them to an Internet address using API.

Answer:
What if Netscape isn’t installed? Yeah, I know, strange as it may seem, many folks actually use Internet Explorer. :-)Rather than look for a specific browser, here’s a routine that simply invokes the default browser:

Private Declare Function ShellExecute Lib "shell32.dll" Alias "ShellExecuteA" (ByVal hwnd As Long, ByVal lpOperation As String, ByVal lpFile As String, ByVal lpParameters As String, ByVal lpDirectory As String, ByVal nShowCmd As Long) As LongPrivate Const SW_SHOW = 5Public Sub HyperJump(ByVal URL As String) Call ShellExecute(0&, vbNullString, URL, vbNullString, vbNullString, SW_SHOW)End Sub

Just pass the desired URL to the routine.
